What a great addition to the kitchen. It saves me a lot of time in the morning whilst getting the kids ready for school, and don't need to worry about 'getting it right this time' like when boiling eggs on the stove top. I love the fact that it has a timer and it's easy to clean.

I have a Breville version but this is much better. Was a bonus with the poaching tray. Made poached eggs this morning and were wonderful.

Good egg cooker
Happy with this product. We bought it for hard boiling or soft boiling eggs and it works really well. It is also a really nice design. We purchased this product after previously having the Sunbeam which makes a ridiculously loud noise when the eggs are ready. This one makes a much more appropriate alarm. We haven't used the item to poach eggs - and probably won't - so can't comment on that.

Worst poacher ever.
Listen to the other negative reviewers about the whole poaching scenario, they're right. It's the worst egg poacher ever. It takes MORE than thirty minutes to poach an egg and doesn't poach them evenly. DO NOT BUY.

Last xmas I sister in law bought 4 of these egg cookers as gifts, my daughter saw how easy it is to use & so I have purchased one for her this year. Its great to use & easy to clean too.

Cuisinart Egg Cooker can't poach
I love poached eggs and my old Sunbeam egg cooker did perfect eggs every time but it died a few years ago. Saw the Cuisinart Egg Cooker and thought 'Yay'. But, sadly it hasn't lived up to expectations. It takes nearly 20 minutes to cook second rate poached eggs and after five weeks of trying I am giving up. If you are wanting to buy it for poached eggs, don't.

Egg Cooker
I bought this egg cooker as it looked sturdier than other brands. Im happy with it cooked eggs perfectly first go. I found cooking 4 eggs use 5 egg water symbol (for hard boiled).Clean with plasticwashing up brush on base, while cooling down and no mineral build up! easy and quick to use a definate advantage having off switch.

Easy to use, perfect every time
I love soft boiled eggs or poached eggs, I get what I like every time. No problems at all, love using it. I like medium done for salads and they come out just the way I like them. I am very happy with the product. I follow the instructions and I have had no mistakes.

Disappointed.
Thought the Cuisinart Egg Cooker would outdo our Sunbeam, which, after 40 years, decided it was time to retire. But, sadly, it is not what we thought. I agree with one of the reviewers who said they had to 'play around with the amount of water'. That is what we are doing presently. Really disappointed.

This is a little gem and a must for anyone who likes an egg or 3 for breakfast. Its ability to poach eggs is fantastic. Now my only problem is wrestling it from the kids!

Eggzactly what I needed....
Seriously - how cute is this?? It fits snugly between the kettle & the toaster as it's used almost daily. I know boiled eggs are easy to do but I would never bother, and now I do - simple as that. The poacher is even easier to use & virtually nothing to clean up. This is a 'good' gadget!!

CUISINART EGG COOKER
i found this product extremeley easy to use so easy in fact i have 5 year old twin girls who love boiled eggs and can now do their own using the cuisineart egg cooker they love it and there is no boiling water to worry about and their eggs are done to their liking every single time.(parents will need to pierce the eggs if you don't want mess)

Convenient!
I love eggs in the morning but I never wake up early enough to cook them. The egg cooker is great. I can just switch it on and then jump in the shower and have ready cooked eggs. You do have to play around with the amount of water deNo on the size of the eggs but once you get that sorted. Its a good product!

Easy to use
Love the Cuisinart Egg Cooker. I just switch it on, wait about 12 mins, and I have 3 beautifully poached eggs for breakfast. I can also cook up to 7 hardboiled eggs at a time, which I sometimes take to work.
