Great Product

I have used this to slice cold meat as well as frozen chicken breast for schizels etc and it just powers through it. Easy to use and clean up. Compact in the cupboard.

Ritter Slicer

I have had a Ritter slicer in my cupboard and it has been broken for years. It gave up its ghost when I tried to slice some Italian Prosciuto and I found that most of the internal gears, made of plastic just shaved off. I have been trying to get spares ever since but to no avail. I guess it is cheaper to buy a new machine but what happens when I try to slice some more prosciuto?

best invention since sliced bread

We are happily and quickly slicing cold roast meats in a matter of minutes. At a recent family gathering the cutting of cold meats took only 10 miniutes including cleanup a job which used to take the best part of an hour. Best thing I've bought in ages.

love it!!

I love this slicer! We use it for meat (mainly ham and salami), and freshly made bread. We end up with perfectly sliced bread, which has been great for sandwiches. We also love that it is so compact ... it doesn't take up too much room on the bench, but also packs away nicely in the cupboard.

Meat slicer

I've used this appliance for slicing ham & smallgoods & found it very easy to use, easy to clean & a great product to have in the kitchen. Used in combination with a vacuum packer, it's well worth purchasing.

Fantastic.

I'm so pleased with my Ritter slicer, have used it to slice home made bread and home cooked corn beef. It sliced though both beautifully and saved me a lot of pressure on my arms and shoulders than trying to slice by hand. Also both the bread and meat seem to be going further than slicing by hand.

Very Pleased

When I first got it out the box I wasn't too sure if I liked it but as soon as I had put it together and cut some salami I decided it is an excellent addition to our kitchen. Have now used it for cheese, bread, sausage and meat and find it great value and easy to clean.

Ritter Food Slicer

Meets all expectations. Bought it specifically for slicing home made bread which it does evenly. Also wanted lightweight, fold up & easy to store which it is. There are differing opinions amongst bread makers, some say that an electric knife is the only way to slice. I am happy with the Ritter Food Slicer.

Very Impressive!

Very simple to set up.
Has suction caps on base to make it stable on the work top.
Slices cold meats perfectly.
Easy to clean and folds together for storage.

Slice with ease and speed

You just can't go wrong with this slicer. Besides slicing meat, chicken and salami with ease it is very light and compact. Folds up and stores in the same space as a toaster, if not less actually. And cleaning is an absolute breeze. Ours get used at least every second day, so it is not a dust collector and the German design ensures it works as it says it will. KitchenwareDirect not only got this in for us when out of stock it arrived more quickly than things sent from Sydney.
