Magimix 3150 Food Processor White

My 20 year old magimix became un-repairable so was happy to buy a new one. It arrived after purchasing it online. It is a great mixer. But the bowl is incredibly difficult to lock into place. And the lid is even more difficult. When locking the lid into place, the entire bowl warps out of shape. Having only had the product that we paid more than $400 for, I contacted Magimix and asked them to replace the unit, as it was obviously faulty. The bowl and lid require so much force to lock them into place, that my grandmother is incapable of doing it herself. On the old one, she had no problem whatsoever. Magimix customer support solution was for me to proceed and make 30 minute trips back and forward to the repair center. The repair center have been great. They acknowledge that there product is obviously faulty. They tried changing the bowl and lid for me, but the problem persists. Because I bought the product and it was faulty from the start, my complete disgust is that Magimix company feels it is ok for me to make trips backwards and forwards, an hour each trip to attempt to fix the problem. And now that the replacement bowl and lid dont solve the problem, the next option is for me to leave the mixer at the shop and lose use of the product. Again, I bought it brand new and should not have to have to make all these trips and then lose use of the product. Magimix is sold at a premium price. The product support needs to match. If a product is faulty off the shelf, it should be replaced and become the problem of the company supplying the product. I am disgusted by the attitude of the management at Magimix. I would never ever recommend using any of their products.

I have had a blender in my kitchen for years. Not a very good one... I lashed out and bought the Magimix a few months ago, and just want to say that it has revolutionised my cooking. I use it almost every day - no kidding! It is fast, quiet, easy to clean and works like it should. I absolutely love it. Kitchenware Direct delivered it to me quickly and in pristine condition, and when I wanted an additional item (the vegetable juicer attachment) they were helpful and efficient. They are doing so much that is right - impressive!

Through my 40years of experience l have had different food processor and I definetely recomend the above food processor. Running very efficiently and look forward to many years of enjoy preparing meals.

I grow my own veges and make lots of preserves and relishes, this is great for taking out the chopping and slicing. The grater is unbelieveable.

After reading a lot of reviews I purchased the Magimix 3150 from KitchenwareDirect at a very good price compared with other suppliers. It arrived two days earlier than expected. Now having used my Magimix a number of times it well and truely lives up to its good reputation as does KitchenwareDirect's customer service.

I debated whether to go for the larger motor but happy with my choice. I've made bread, ground nuts and used all the slicing functions and its a dream to use. I love the ease of swapping the two bowls.

I'd always wanted a high quality food processor, but didn't think I would be able to afford one. This Magimix is superb quality for this price and has all the discs and choppers that I need. Really happy with the product and dealing with Kitchenware Direct.

Great little machine that does everything and doesn't take up too much space - love it.

I love my new Magimax. It has so much power and will blitz anything. And all the attachments are great. The small bowl that fits in the top is not quite as great. I found it was hard to process nuts. And that's a job that should be easy. Perhaps the small blade isn't sharp enough ?? Apart from that I love it !

This is my 2nd Magimix food processor. The old one lasted 34 years (yes, 34). This one has an improved design, bigger bowl, on/off switch, and more accesories. It sits on the bench, ready to go whenever. I just had a party for 20 guests and could not imagine doing the food without it. It handled vast quantities in one go. A great helper.

I have this appliance and it is one of the best tools in my kitchen. It is high powered, works much better than other brands and I use it almost every day. Great purchase for me and worth every dollar.

I am disappointed with this purchase, as I expected the 2.6L bowl to actually hold this amount and blend this amount. However the design with the internal blade and its design to hold the small bowl greatly reduces the holding capacity. If I had the change again, I would buy another brand with just one large bowl. I hate the small bowl and the way it sits inside the large one, it really doesnt make sense to me. The machine itself works well, & happy with the actual blender/processor, just the bowl size is wasted & too small , and is actually smaller than the much cheaper brand I used for years that I have passed on to the Salvo's.

Great price and really quick delivery. Love having the two bowls - a really good idea when you are doing small amounts. Love the storage box for all the bits and pieces that go with it.

Small compact, super quiet, effecient and enough for the 2 of us. A pleasure to use and should've bought this sooner, makes cooking such a pleasure again! What more can I say? If you have a big family go for the largest model you'll never tire of it..

My Moulinex processor died just weeks before Xmas, bought way back in the 1970s. I did lots of research and decided the Magimix 3150 was the only machine to replace it. I was going to save for months just to get it. There it was on Xmas morning. Well, it was working in no time, julienne vegetables, potatoes for the bake, and on and on. I saved so much time and enjoyed Xmas cooking. Have used it every day since. Made a decided space on my kitchen bench. So quiet, so happy with it, I love it. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

I'm really happy with this so far. I was really surprised at how quiet it is. I also like the storage box for all the discs and blades. It was a lot of money but I can see where the value is compared to the cheaper ones I've had previously.

Wow, great machine for the price. Love Magimix and Kitchenware Direct delivered in about 5 days. Great transaction all round!

Kitchenware Direct delivered in slightly over a week. A very high quality apparatus. If working with liquids (like beating eggs with the whisk attachment), note that inner skirt rises to a third of the full height and so can only fill up to a third of its capacity or it will leak. Otherwise stellar for processing solids. Amazingly smooth and quiet. It's quite heavy so you may need to have the counter space to leave it out permanently.

this is my second Magimix - the first is now over 30 years old and stll functioning but this offer was too good to refuse. I'm still working my way through all the attachments. The machine is lightweight enough to keep in a cupboard and use when needed although probably not the top shelf as it does have a solid base. Chances are you'll keep it available for constant use because it is just a fabulous piece of kitchen equipment.

This is a great product and well worth the cost. Quiet and powerful. Wish I had bought one years ago instead of buying cheapies

Its a great little mixer, only problem I've had so far is it's not watertight. I was blending almonds to make almond milk and the liquid just flooded out from the inside and at the top at the lid edge. Unfortunate. However very happy to be able to blend things like nuts!

I am so thrilled with my Magimix food processor it does all the things and much more then l thought l couldn't be more pleased with it ,and had recommended to my friend to buy one also,and she went one better and brought the next size up from mine !!!!
