Cuisinart Griddler

I love to use this as my indoor BBQ. It is really great for steaks, sausasages, kebabs etc. I don't use a lot of oil because; 1 - its non stick & 2 - the oil spits up & coats anything near by in the kitchen. I didn't really like it for toasted sandwiches, maybe I need to bit more but mine got stuck to the top hotplate when I opened it up -(maybe I didn't have it hot enough)!

The griddler truly is a terrific item for the kitchen. We can now cook meals for the whole (large) family at once, and is so easy to clean with the removable plates. I also love the options of grilling, griddling or panini press, and all work really well. I don't know how we managed before we bought this great product... worth every cent!

This product is fantastic - and so are Kitchenwaredirect. I bought the product and used it a couple of times and it was excellent. I then noticed a strange mark on the top outside area. It in no way affected the performance of the unit but I emailed KWD to ask if anyone else had had the problem. They immediately asked me to post it back to them (post free) - even though I didn't expect this. Replacement happened immediately with no hassles and lots of apologies. I cannot fault the product or this wonderful company.

We had a toasted sandwich maker, so I hesitantly bought the Cuisinart Griddler - all the time thinking "where am I going to put it?" Well, it hasn't left our benchtop and we use it at least 'every other day'. It was a little more lightweight than I was expecting, but it does a fantastic job of toasted panini, open grills, pancakes and the list goes on. Who needs to order pizza when you can make a delicious toasted panini in minutes! It'll pay for itself in no time, and because it is used all the time, we don't have to worry about finding storage space in the cupboard! Very pleased with the product and Kitchenware Direct's service is always impeccable!

Poor Design Bought this unit to replace my aging Omega. (Non stick surface decaying) Omega has individual thermostats for upper and lower plates. So if only using bottom plate, top can be switched off. Or if using open flat, 1 plate can be hot for say bacon other low for eggs. Omega plates are reversible ribbed/flat hence only need 2 plates not 4 Otherwise well built unit.

Great addition to kitchen. We are using it more than anticipated, not only for healthy cooking but ideal for browning before casseroles etc. Love it!

Our old unit bit the dust and upgraded to this - should have done it earlier! Everything cooks well on it so far, steaks a highlight. Took someone too long to come up with the removeable plates, cleaning is now too easy - no more greasy sandwich press sitting in the cupboard on a sheet of newspaper. Two thumbs up!

Purchased primarily for our son {13} to cook his steaks etc .. super easy to use, love that the plates are removable making for easy clean up. We have also used it for pancakes, actually used some of the recipes in the accompanying booklet .. really enjoyed! Great value for money! Would recommend to anyone looking for a griddler.

Fantastic product, looks too good to be put away. Works like a dream, cooks the best pancakes ever and cleans up so easily. Love it!

Have bought a heap of products in last 12 months. All good - this is the best. After a long drive on a Friday night tothe country out comes the Griddler and before you know it - perfectly cooked kebabs. Worth every cent.

This is fantastic appliance. Enough heat to cook a steak in minutes. Toasted sandwiches, even chops. Opens out for large cooking surface. Metal grill plates go in the dishwasher.
