Cuisinart Slow Cooker 6.5L Programmable

A must have for any busy family, quickly prepare in the morning and by the time you're back home the whole house smells amazing and the food tastes great!

Works perfectly and makes great meals. Considerations for improvement would only be 1. Change the power cord to terminate on IEC connector at the appliance end and 2. Add Child lock to the timer (my 2 yo turned it off without me noticing)

I Love my Slow Cooker - especially because it's a Cuisinart! I not only use it in Winter, but I basically use it all year round. The size is huge, but perfect for me & my family because it means we always have leftovers which means we save money!

Received this item 2 weeks ago and have done a fair amount of cooking with it already! It's very easy to use, set and forget, and the automatic keep warm function is absolutely fantastic. Very easy to clean, either just under the tap or in the dishwasher. Very happy all round with this item.

I commented on this product on the 30/7/09 and the 9/9/09 and I am still in love with it. I use it constantly and I am always sad to limit it's use in the summer months. My family have enjoyed many wonderful meals made in this friend and I will be forever grateful I made this purchase. Once again Thank You Kitchenware Direct.

This product far out-shines the other slow cookers on the market - mainly due to the timer! Knowing that your meal can cook for 6-8 hours but if you are at work for 10, it will switch onto "keep warm" and be ready for you when you get home! Excellent!

I absolutely LOVE this slow cooker. It has everything going for it, with extras! We eat a lot of vegetarian food, so I love that you can put it on whenever you like and set the timer and know you won't come home to a cooker full of mush as it has switched over automatically to warm. It has a great big capacity, but you can cook smaller amounts too; it seems to be faultless. I have found that it lives up to the SLOW part of it's name, and when using recipes, I set it for a crockpot time, and it does a beautiful job. Well done, Cuisinart, for another quality product! Oh, and you can even replace the inner pot if you smash it-brilliant!

This is an excellent slow cooker. The timer feature allows you to cook for as many hours as you need and then switches over to the warming feature. I have great meals ready for me whn I get home from work everynight. The cooker also cooks the food evenly and there is no burning. I highly recommend this product!

Well made and easy to use with a few button pushes. The large, easy to read count-down timer quickly shows the remaining cooking time. The huge 6.5 litre ceramic pot with glass lid slips easily in an out of the unit and even looks good on the dining room table as well - making serving a breeze and cleaning easy.

Purchased the my slow cooker a couple of weeks ago and It is much better than the other slow cookers I have purchased in the past. Makes a great pea and ham soup, curried sausages. A great asset for our kitchen.

Great for winter casseroles and soups! And so large that you can have food left over for the next day. Love the programmable fuctions and the fact that it keeps food Warm until you are ready to serve.

I bought one of these 2 years ago, when it worked it was fab but after 1 year the LCD went on it and today it has died completely! I only used it a handful of times and seems such a waste to throw it away as it is almost brand new, but it is not fixable! I don't know whether to buy another, seeing that I have the dish for it or get a different brand???

Being rather domestically challenged, I've finally found a way to serve beautifully presented meals to guests without worrying if I've made the meat too chewy and horrible. This slow cooker might be the best addition to the kitchen I've ever made! It's so easy to use and a dream to clean too. I highly recommend the Cuisinart slow cooker!

I ordered this product late one afternoon and to my surprise I recieved it at lunchtime the very next day! Outstanding service and what a product. I have cooked a whole chicken and morrocan lamb shanks that were cooked to perfection. It automatically switches to "keep warm" so all I have to do is serve up when I get home from work! The inner bowl is super easy to clean, just wipes clean with no scrubbing needed. I would highly recommend Kitchenware Direct and Cuisinart Slow cooker.

I am so happy with my Cuisinart 6.5 slow cooker. My daughter insisted I choose something I've always wanted from my first pay cheque on my return to work last month. So I bought the slow cooker and I'm just thrilled with the results and so are my family and friends. Everyone wants to come for dinner - and I love having a yummy meal to serve them without any fuss.

Purchased as a 30th birthday present to myself, this gem is a working girl's best friend. Throw whatever is in the fridge and pantry into the cooker before work, and bang, you have a ready to eat meal when you walk through the door. Makes great roasts and puddings too. My friend just had a baby and bought one also. She says it has made her life so much easier while breast feeding and will use it to make baby food when the time comes. Highly recommended!!

Bought this cooker and wonder why it took me so long to buy it. Beautifully cooks shanks until the meat just falls off the bone - fantastic!!! Huge capacity as well!

I bought the cuisinart 6.5L slow cooker last week- im onto my 4th meal-my family is won over, and so is my budget!!! So nice to be able to buy cheaper cuts of meat but have flavours that just hit the spot on a winters night.

This is the best slow cooker I have used and more than capable of satisfying a large family with meals. The only complaint that I have with this product is it does not have a retractable cord as advertised, which for me was a purchasing factor.

This item is just brilliant.! It is very large but is stylish enough to have sitting on my kitchen bench. Very easy to use and I really find the programmable option great for my busy lifestyle!!! Cant recommend it enough!!!

I reviewed this item previously and nothing has changed my mind about it, it is a wonderful product and I have recommended it to my daughter-in-law who is a very fussy cook. To K.G. I did not have room in my cupboards so I have it on top of my freezer together with my breadmaker..STILL FIVE STARS.

Be warned that this is a BIG item - you might want to think about whether or not you've got the bench and/or cupboard space prior to purchase. However, if you've got the room, this product can't be faulted. The 24-hour programmable option is brilliant, allowing you to prepare a meal the night before, when you know you've got a busy day ahead. 5 stars!
