Loving the set, especially the Ravioli Maker!

Finally! Dreams of making my own pasta, especially ravioli have become a reality. The pasta roller, ravioli maker and angel hair cutter were put to use this evening and I could not have been happier with the experience and the results - just amazing! I think the ravioli maker is my favourite attachment so far - so FUN and so easy to use! I made "pillows" with prune jam filling and coated with ground hazelnuts and sugar - a Slovak speciality - mmm! They turned out beautifully the first time around, given that it was my first time at making fresh pasta dough. Filling ideas are just endless and I look forward to satisfying my longings for a dish of savoury ravioli which I am yet to make and try. Just a note about the ravioli maker, you will need the pasta roller to make and prepare your dough, so do get this set, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Kitchenware Direct for the generous Mother's Day discount which enabled me to grab this set at a fantastic price and fulfil my dreams of making fresh pasta!

Wow!

I already owned the lasagne sheet roller and have never used store bought dried or fresh sheets again. Enormous taste difference in home made quality that it is simply worth the time and the effort to make it at home. This one item impressed me so much that I could not wait to get the complete set. Firstly, thank you to KD for the great mothers' day special which gave me a brilliant excuse to purchase it sooner rather than later. Secondly, thank you to my family for pooling the funds for me!!! Lastly, I used the fettuccine cutter first as this won the family vote on "which cutter to use first". Not only was it simple, but the results were fabulous. The pasta was not only delicious but everyone commented that it was also way more filling than even the freshest store bought variety. EVEN BETTER THAN RESTAURANT QUALITY!!!! Can't wait to use the lot...but they have requested fettuccine again. LOL. I also can't wait for delivery of the pasta press!!! I love my K5, all the attachments that transform it into a supermachine and I love this site for having the most toys to pick from for my K5. Love my family, best mothers' day ever with the help from KD.

Kitchen Aid Pasta Set

Living in the outback in WA there is no where for me to shop. I purchased the Kitchen Aid 6pc Pasta Excellence Set and the food processor. They both arrived quickly and they have not stopped I used them all the time don't know how I got my without them. I was so impressed I just brought Scanpan. Cannot wait for them to arrive we love when the parcel lady comes to our door.
Will be using this site again saving for the Kitchen Aid Blender and more Scanpan
