KitchenAid Food Grinder/Mincer Attachment

I love this mincer. Been mincing all sorts of vegetables into various dishes to hide them from the kids and unlike grated vegies they can't even see them! Works equally well on soft and hard items from bread for crumbing to carrots. I haven't even tried mincing meat yet and it is already worth its weight in gold. I bought this mincer to mince blade a topside as I don't like the butcher shop mince. It minces the meat perfect. The floavour of the mince is far better than the butcher shop mince.

Ordered on a Monday arrived on Wednesday morning, fantastic service as usual. Grinder is an excellent addition to my growing collection of attachments, so many things I can't wait to try. Just starting with basic beef mince means I'll never have to buy it again!

I purchased this Mincer attachment for 'Candy' my KitchenWare Direct purchased extra special anniversary edition Kitchenaid mixer ( Yes, I am fond of her!) Used it to make my yearly batch of tomatoe sauce- Came out perfect- No more spoon and strainer for me......I wondered whether I would need the strainer attachment, but great texture without it- Perhaps if you like very smooth sauce you would add the strainer- Very impressed- with next day delivery it was easier than going to the shops in the summer heat! My partner bought the food grinder/meat mincer attachment for my birthday. Not only did he buy it from KWD much cheaper then from any other competitor, but with free post it arrived quickly and made me the happiest birthday girl! I have never tasted better mince then home-made mince!

Since purchasing the grinder attachement when we do our own meat up we put the smaller pieces through the grinder and end up with beautifully ground mince and with the sausage stuffer we make our own preservative free sausages which are well worth it. We dont waste anything and were saving all the time . Now our dog just has to be satisfied with his own food.

We have been buying whole rumps & shoulders of meat & mincing our own meat since this arrived. It is quick, fun & we get to choose how much fat we want in the mince. It is not too loud, I can use it without waking my baby, which is very important to me. I highly reccomend mincing your own meat with this attachment, food that uses mince doesn't make you feel so heavy afterwards & is much tastier. This mincer is very easy to clean, although you do have to make sure you get the fat that gets stuck way down the bottom near the gear opening.

I live in Melbourne and could easily have bought this personally. Why bother when it's cheaper to buy on-line and arrives in days. We're making sausages this weekend.

I followed the instructions in the guide and it minced meat really well. I like that the guide indicates which bits are dishwasher safe. Highly recommend.

Another Christmas present for myself. Easy to use and clean and the best bit about it is-fresh mince!! We are having fun experimenting with all the different meats and we may have to give sausages ago too. Great addition to the KA mixer

I love my mincer, I don't buy minced meat any more, I buy lean meat and mince it myself, at least this way you know exactly what you are eating and know that it is 100% meat. Easy to use and clean. Fantastic

I know what goes into my mincer..e.g. Last week at the market ...Chicken Breast - $8 kg - Chicken Mince...$11kg. What!!!!? You can guess I bought some lovely chikcen breast home and minced it myself. Perfect!

What a great purchase. I can now mince anything to the consistency that "I" like - use it at least three times a week and the KitchenAid StandMixer every day. More important to me then my kids LOL

I recently bought a kitchenaid mixer and order this mincer,it is the best thing I've bought for a long time. Home minced meat is the best. Glad I bought this product.

After hearing the horror stories about all the additives in minced meat from supermarkets and butchers I decided to do my own. I can't believe how awesome and easy the mincer attachment is to use and clean. I can now make the best beef, chicken, lamb and pork mince at home. I also bought the sausage stuffer at the same time. By mincing my own meat I have a much fresher, tastier and healthier alternative for sausages, meatballs and patties. I can by nice lean meat or chicken at 1/2 the price of ready made mince.

The mincer works so easily and gives perfect results every time. I minced pork for sausages and have minced beef for patties. I'm so glad I no longer have to buy butcher's mince or snags.

If you have a KitchenAid mixer, you probably love to cook, so it is a good chance you will enjoy making your own gourmet sausages! A friend let me borrow her mincer and sausage maker attachments for a KitchenAide Mixer I bought from this site recently. Wow. The results were so cool!!! I made all kinds of gourmet sausages, including some Cumberland sausages for my husband who comes from that part of the world. I've ordered my own grinder and sausage maker. Can't wait!
