KitchenAid Artisan Mixer KSM150 Boysenberry

This mixer was given to my daughter as a Christmas/Housewarming gift as she has been wanting a KitchenAid mixer ever since I bought one for myself. The colour is gorgeous and she is very very happy!!

I have wanted a Kitchenaid Mixer for years. My daughter chose the great colour (Boysenberry) and my husband bought it for me as a Christmas gift. I made cupcakes and lemon meringue pie on the 25th and was very impressed with my new mixer. It's too pretty to put away on the cupboard. Wish I had one years ago!

I bought this mixer for my wifes birthday she loves it. She has been madly cooking for a fete over the last few days and it has been a lifesaver. I also enjoy using it espeially the large mixing bowl never overflows even with a double mix.

I have wanted a KitchenAid mixer for more than 20 years now. Finally I had the opportunity to buy one with my tax return as did catherine from Hobart above. I chose the Boysenberry colour because I didn't want to be the same as everyone else. Whenever you see someones KitchenAid mixer it is usually red. I wanted something that would be pretty, functional ( I cook and bake whenever I get spare time). I just love my new present to myself. After my old mixer broke down I have been dreaming of a boysenberry KitchenAid and with my tax return I finally treated myself. I absolutely love it. I have always used my Mum's old stand mixer when I was living at home which is older than myself. I have wanted one for years and finally took the plunge and it is absolutely fantastic. I use it at least 3 to 4 times a week and it lives on my kitchen bench. I know some people have complained about the weight but I never move it. By far my favourite kitchen appliance and can't wait to buy some of the attachments. Also I was so please with the quick response in delivery. I live out of the city and it arrived under 48 hours form making the purchase I was gob smacked.

The hardest decision was what colour to buy. I was torn between red and boysenberry. My new boysenberry mixer arrived on Tuesday and I have been baking up a storm. without a doubt this machine is worth every cent. The powerful motor makes mixing heavy doughs so very easy, and you get great results every time. It is a great investment, and is something you will be passing down to your kids. Looks fabulous as well, I finally settled on the boysenberry and could not be happier. Love my mixer its the best present thats ever arrived at my door, the colour is beautiful. The best thing I ever bought! The boysenberry colour is really lovely. Have made hummingbird cake and bread with mine and worked like a charm. Ordered on a saturday night and had it on Friday. Well. Almost. My wedding day was pretty memorable, and I should mention the birth of my two gorgeous children. The planetary action on the mixer is incredible, no more cake batter splattered around the edge of the bowl out of the reach of the beaters on most other brands. I love my KtichenAid Stand Mixer - it's got great style, looks and colour (I've got the boysenberry), and performs even better than I expected. I never intended to use it for breadmaking but it has made my breadmaker redundant becuse it TOTALLY outclasses anything the breadmaker produces, ensuring my spelt flour loaves are perfect every time - something the breadmaker never achieved. Spoil yourself - you may not think you 'need' this treat, that it's just a 'want' - but believe me, I guarantee it IS a 'need'. And thanks to the girls at KitchenwareDirect for answering all my questions about colour and how true the boysenberry colour on the website looked to the product in the flesh.

Not being a baker but enjoying all other sorts of cooking, I finally built up the courage to purchase a Kitchen Aid mixer. And what fun I've had! Started with some cup cakes which were pretty good. Then had to make 150 mini cup cakes for my nephew's engagement party, then a pizza dough and now I shall take up the challenge of Easter hot cross buns.
