great for small roasts, or apple crumble etc. A tad to small for roasting a normal sized chicken, so keep that in mind. The lid is very handy and it stacks well in the cupboard. Also it's a good size to slide into the fridge (if your like me, and sometimes to lazy to put left overs in a plastic container!)

Great for a shepards pie, I love it. just the right size since the kids have moved out. Great size for dinner and some for lunch the next day..
