I am in the middle of making this creation when I received your post. But, still wanted to make a comment. I am constructing this for my elderly brother who adores anything ginger, who, unfortunately missed out on Christmas due to being very ill in hospital. So this is his post-Christmas early birthday cake. Such a brilliant creation for the child in all of us.
