Sure, you could use a cookie sheet or a baking tray for your pizzas, but that Italian snacklet won't fit as nicely as it will on a pizza pan or pizza plate. You see, the big and critical difference here is that pizza pans and pizza plates are, well... round. Kind of like pizzas.
