Perfect crust at last

I haven't had much success before with making an apple pie with a crispy crust. This pie tin allowed me to finally reach my goal. And even better, the plastic snap lid allowed me to enjoy the leftover pie the next day without damaging the flaky crust - the tiny vents allowed me to put the still warm pie in the fridge without condensation meanwhile keeping the pie fresh for the next day. The pie tin is so sturdy I can now see why it has a lifetime guarantee.
