I tested my oven (even though I expected it to be perfect) and to my delight SPOT ON even five years later. Kudos to Bosch (my oven has an internal digital thermometer which should never be out than more than + or - 0.5 degrees) and after 5 years of torture, my Bosch oven still rocks and the temperature is spot on perfect. Didn't think I'd need to check it, but I am glad I did as it reinforces that I got the quality I paid for.

Works well
Using a gas oven in a third world country with dirty gas I found the oven too hot and meringues were a nightmare, This handy little gadget has allowed me to get a true reading of temps and the meringues are coming out perfect!! A real gem that can revolutionise your baking :0)

My wife reconded that our new oven was slow or was not reaching the temperature it was set to this little beauty proved that it was spot on, hangs nicely from the oven racks or stands equally as well on its base, not complaints at all especially at the price.

Useful Oven Gadget
This is very useful for dodgy ovens like mine - I thought it was just a "slow" oven - turns out it was 20 degrees below the temperature on the oven dial!

Awesome
I just moved into a new house and the oven was running HOT. I couldn't work out how much hotter it was so I bought this thermometer and it proved my oven is 60 degrees HOTTER than it should be. Now I can bake a perfect cake and get the oven fixed.

Accurate Baking
Our oven temperature was 20 degrees below the dial setting. My daughter is over the moon and her cakes are baking to perfection now that we know the real temperature

I moved into a rental with a gas oven that runs on farenhiet but that is completly wrong! I brought this to keep track of the temperature and it is perfect!

accurate
My oven runs about 50-80 degrees hotter than it should. Whilst this makes awesome pizza and pork belly crackling, sponges etc flop badly. And a pav- oh my- browned within 5 minutes. Sadly oven manufacturers seem to be all over the place with their temps, so this is invaluable for a keen baker.

great idea and a must for the home oven
my oven was not as off as i though it was! love having this hanging in the oven for piece of mind. can hang or sit where ever you want and is relatively easy to read without sticking your head in the oven :) also lets you know how much heat you are loosing when you open the door.

Electric Oven
I thought that the thermostat in my oven was not functioning properly, the Avanti Oven Thermometer proved my suspicion correct. My oven is 20 degrees cooler than the dial reads.
