Wouldn't be without it

Great little item as I like to make my own gravy (real gravy is what my family callit). Bought extra for my daughters. Had pyrex one but very thin and was broken by me cleaner. So plastic is much better. Constantly at every roast time.

waste of money - rubbish quality

most useless gadget that i've bought - broke after the second use. The thin piece of plastic at the top of the handle that is supposed to keep the lid on broke off. Design also makes it too difficult to clean - not everyone has dishwashers. Ended up buying an amco swing-a-way one from the US - can't get them here.

A Must Have in the Kitchen!!!

I love the one litre capacity and the design of the jug. Fantastic for making gravy after cooking a roast or removing the fat from lamb shanks before thickening the sauce. Just wonderful.

Great Invention!

A very useful gadent in my kitchen as I cook a lot of roasts. Love the 1lt capacity as I'm not having to fill up 2 or 3 coffee cups with boiling fat. The strainer is a good idea if making stock but for gravy I tend to scrape all the goodies back into the pan - it's nice to have the choice! Definitely recommend this product!!

Great product!

An excellent product. The one litre capacity makes this separator especially useful when making quantities of stock. I agree that the lid can be a bit tricky to tilt up, but I find that as long as the lid isn't pushed down too firmly, then tilting it is much easier. Definitely a must-have kitchen tool.!

Clever Idea

Avery good cobnceot - but the lid can be a bit difficlut to remove to allow the liquid without the fat to be poured. Still love it though!

This is so good

Wish I had known about this sooner. Does a brilliant job of separating the fat from stocks and pan juices for gravy. Definitely makes for a healthier meal.

Fat free soups

I make fat free stocks for my soups, and this product is indespensible. If you are sick of using those store-bought stocks ..which are full of MSG and preservatives - this is the tool for you.
