Love the Kitchenaid. Makes life really easy . If I may suggest when affordable buy the attachments as well. The "HuB' attachments are really easy to use and fast to assemble & disassemble.
The DVD is a MUST to watch BEFORE attempting to use the Kitchenaid. I am senior and thought it would be a waste of time. However, I did the correct thing and learnt a lot of trickes that I would not have realised about the Kitchenaid if I had NOT watched the DVD. Great service again from KWD.

Kitchen life a bit easier YEY!
My hubby got me this K5. Why? So I can make more bread and cakes for them! It's both joy and sad to make some. Why? It takes me 2 hours to proof the bread, only to disappear from my trays, steaming hot in 5 minutes. Kidding aside. I have carpal tunnel syndrome from my 3rd born 2 years ago. And tennis elbow on my right hand and arm. So it got more difficult for me to knead doughs. I always buy ready frosting for my cakes. But now not much kneading and my dough is always smooth and elastic. I tried my first chiffon cake this weekend for friends. I can't believe I can now make fluffy cakes from scratch. And everybody loved my cream cheese icing because it wasn't sweet at all. I can also make bread from scratch no preservatives at all. Everything is a breeze. I just need another bowl and the sausage attachment then I'll delve on that realm. (I would have loved the yellow one, though).) Customer service was fantastic especially dealing with Blake. He was very patient and diligent. Thanks for making my kitchen life a bit easier.

A true Professional!
This is the mixer we use everyday at SWEETNESS the Patisserie to create our award winning marshmallows. Naturally this is the machine I chose for my home kitchen. This is an excellent mixer for those in need of just that little bit more power and bowl capacity. Kitchenware Direct were unbelievably fast with delivery and all was smooth and painless. Great mixer
Im very very happy with the mixer, I dont have to chase the mixer down the bench like I used to with my old one when mixing dough. The mixer is of very sturdy construction. A great team to deal with at kitchenwaredirect.

Heaven in the Kitchenaid
Growing up, Mum had a Sunbeam mixer which, at the time, was as good as it was going to get. Sister's wedding present from me!....a Kenwood Chef. Fast forward 30 years and for my Xmas '09 from me to me I have the K5 PRO. Heaven is here because Bread, Pavlovas Sponges Cakes Pasta, Sausages, Meatloaves, Pate's are all being done with ease and finesse. I couldn't be more pleased. K5 the ultimate mixer
This mixer is amazing, whips up a quick cheesecake and is excellent when it comes to making cookies that have a very stiff dough. I highly recommend this product and the fantastic service I have recieved from Kitchenware Direct on the many items I have purchased.
