Scanpan Classic Frypan 20cm

A friend has been recommending this brand for a long time but the price has been a deterrent. When I saw it on special here I was very tempted, but as I already had "good" frying pans I was still reluctant. Fortunately the temptation won me over. You can feel the quality as soon as you pick it up, it is fairly heavy, but it does a wonderful job. It heats up to cooking temperature quite rapidly and cooks my food evenly and thoroughly. Omelettes are a breeze. And all you have to do to clean it is wipe it with a damp cloth, although I do use soapy water. Thoroughly recommended. I will be buying others in this range. As usual the service from Kitchenware Direct was exemplary.

I bought this for my niece as she has used the one I had bought for my Mum and loved it. Said it was the perfect size for her to dry fry vegies and fish and whatever else for herself once she had finished carb loading growing children!

To be quite honest with you, I was a little surprised at how small it was but size isn't everything. It cooks the best omlettes, pancakes and more. So easy to clean, I'd definately recommend it. I have other Scanpan products and are amazed at how long I have had them and their still like new.

Bought this to replace a Jamie Oliver frypan and am much happier with the quality. Haven't used Scanpan before but hopefully will hold up better than previous brands. Bought the 28cm Scanpan also. Always great service. Quick & efficient.

This pan was my first scanpan purchase and I am now a convert! Scanpan really does make cooking/clean-up easier.

I bought the pan to replace an old one that for damaged after a year or two. Looking at the quality of the pan - which was on sale - I expect it to last me many years. Very good quality and very handy for meals for one, fried eggs etc. And very happy to see that the handle will not come loose after a few uses. Very good price on sale for very good quality!

I will need to buy the larger one now

Just what i needed for a quick fried egg for one

I started with the biggest covered chefs pan which I fell in love with but wanted a small one as well for all those smaller meals like eggs,pancakes and esp since I have a fussy eater that always likes something different to the rest of the family. So there is no drama anymore! Good-bye stress at dinner time!!!

This Scanpan is great! It really is non-stick and so easy to clean up after cooking. I wish I'd invested in this brand before rather than buying cheaper products which don't last.

I love this little pan! Great for eggs, small omelette, quick little dish, something on the side! Ah the possibilities are endless! I'm just shattered that I got my pan before the coloured ones came out!

I LOVE my baby SCANPAN. It's light weight, yet heavy duty, nothing sticks and most importantly, it's EASY to clean. I can't recommend SCANPAN highly enough.

This product is used in a primary school tuckshop by non professionals and sometimes things happen that other frypans would RIP afterwards, not Scanpan. From now on it's all I will buy for my home too.

This is the second scanpan I have bought from kitchen ware .I was so pleased with my 26cm I had to have the small one too . makes for perfect steaks, and nothing gets burnt. thank you kitchen ware

Fabulous size and great for omelettes

Great weight and hold the heat well. This is our first Scanpan - love the fact that any utensil can be used with it. Cleans up in a jiff too.

I have tried other brands but Scanpan just gets it right every time. This is the perfect little pan for cooking my toddler's favourite chops. Love it.

Bought this replacement for a previous scanpan 20cm frypan that survived my teenage son who decided it was indestructible until he overheated it. Yes it can be done. It was hard but he was persistant. This replacement is a joy - so easy to use so easy to clean. The boy is banned from using it.

My conversion to Scanpan occurred some years back with the purchase of my first 20cm frypan proving the best omelette maker and subsequently the perfect introductory gift for family and friends to share the joy of producing perfection without effort!

What's left to say about Scanpan? I've been gradually buying them over the last couple of years - from the large roaster to the small 20cm frypay - not finished yet either!! What to say?? "LOVE 'EM, LOVE 'EM, LOVE 'EM!!"

I have never been able to afford quality saucepans and I have always wanted a frypan that doesn't take the breadcrumbs off my schnitzel - if you know what I mean.
Through this site I was able to purchase the 20cm Scanpan frypan - it is absolutely fantastic! I am sauteing, cooking bacon, eggs, omelettes and it all simply slides off and on to the plate. This site makes scanpans so affordable I will be buying more! Love it!

Fantastic size for eggs, bacon, sausages and omelettes. So many times when I cooked these I would have to use my bigger scanpan frypan and kept saying to myself I needed a smaller pan for the smaller food items. I use it all the time now. Great item!! You'll wonder why you didn't buy it sooner; like I did!!
