Scanpan Classic 4pc Set w/ 2 Saucepans, Frypan, Dutch Oven

I've chosen to buy this set because we've had a scanpan wok that we use all the time that has lasted us nearly 20 years already. It is still going strong. Scanpan a brand I can trust will last a lifetime. The non-stick coating is fabulous as well and the great thing is that it doesn't come off!

I originally bought a set of Scanpan Cookware from one of the major retail stores on "sale" and paid $1000.00 for the set. I was wanting to buy a set for my son and was going to go back to the same store when I decided I might try the internet instead. I came upon Kitchenware Direct and saw a set for $399.00!!! Less than half price. Couldn't believe it! I was sceptical, but the exact same product arrived at my door within the 2 - 5 days as advertised and I was so impressed. I have loved using the product in the past, and I know my son will too. Thanks Kitchenware Direct - I'm a convert! Better customer service than the major stores.

I have waited a long time to purchase a set like this and it arrived and I was in heaven. Even more so when I cooked my casserole in the dutch oven. The meat was so tender and was simmered on a very low heat .I am a chef in disguise with Scanpan. Thankyou.

We got some presents of KitchenwareDirect recently so when we were looking for some pans we came straight here. We found these GREAT Scanpan pots at a bargain price and couldn't pass them up! They are sturdy, not too heavy, and have the great non-stick coating without the horrible chemicals that peel off. They arrived within a week - and were actually delivered on a Sunday!! When I first saw the price I must admit I though "no way could they be legit!" the scanpan set is AWESOME value for money, what a bargin. I bought it for my mum's 50th bday, she looooves cooking. This was all my daughter requested when she moved into her apartment. She was so thrilled with her Scanpan set, that I too invested in a set for myself and just love them. They wear and wear and for the price and the service that one gets from Kitchenware Direct, where else would I even consider looking anywhere else for Kitchenware. I spent 16 years enjoying gourmet cooking before I was introduced to my first Scanpan. It was the best item I had ever used (which is really saying something!). That was it; I was hooked. I recently purchased this set of 4 pans as well and seriously, they are that fantastic that I would never go back to another brand. The Scanpans need a little extra care - for instance you shouldn't just chuck them in the dishwasher - but for your bit of extra care you'll be given many years of the best pans available. My score: 10 out of 10. Take it from someone who knows; don't bother with any other brand. Especially with a deal like this where you're saving such an enormous amount on the cost! :)

Got some money for Christmas from my Mum and knew this was my chance to get the pots and pans I wanted for a long time. On Tuesday 11/1/11 mid morning in the very heavy rain my big box arrived - did feel sorry for the guy delivering - and as he said "there are already places arond Brisbane he couldnt get to" - but I got mine. And as the day turned out I didn't get a chance to unpack it for a few days and it just sat there inside the front door (think it was the second day my 2 1/2 year managed to get some of the big bubble-wrap out and wrapped around her and said "see Mum - going swimming" During the rest of that day and the following days my husband and friends were busy emtying and then cleaning our good friends Liz' house here in Graceville - the water got about 50cm on the top floor of her house - they did manage to get most out before it got flooded. With 2 little kids at home I couldnt help but baked and cooked and brought morning tea and lunch around and cooked for everyone who came to our place for dinner. So after a week sitting there I finally opened the box and been so happy cooking with my scanpan pots and pans - and using my Rosti bowls ever since. LIke being home again - as a Dane I can highly recommend both Scanpan and Rosti - not because they are danish, but because they are the best If I'm so lucky to win this then the money will go so my friend Liz
