This is designed to fit 26cm Scanpan Classic Saute Pans, dutch ovens and low casseroles. Please note that this does not fit Scanpan pieces with the new flatter lid with stainless rim. Awesome Egg Poacher

Loving this egg poacher!! the 26cm sautee pan is perfect for this poacher and the fact that it has 6 deep cups means there are no issues when guests come to stay and any size egg will fit, my husband loves that part. So happy I made this purchase!!

Better than silicone!

Forget silicone pods. You can't beat this traditional design in an egg poacher. Add the famous scanpan non-stick coating and you've got a great product you'll have for a life time. It's worth noting that you need a 26cm saute pan or something similar. Your 26cm fry pan will be too shallow and the poacher sits on the pan's rim, so a larger pan wont work either. Scan pan could improve on this design by adding legs so that it could sit in the base of a larger pan, but it's otherwise a brilliant product that produces a perfectly poached egg. As for the silicone egg poaching pods? I found them fiddly, definitely not non-stick and likely to flood or sink. Give them a miss and buy one of these instead.

deep cups, suits any 26cm pan, just remember to grease the cups lightly. perfect for 2 or 3 people

best egg poacher

This is a fantastic addition to the 26cm saute pan. Our family goes through a lot of eggs, so poaching 6 at a time is very useful. The non-stick cups work really well - very easy to clean.
