Scanpan’s signature Classic line is manufactured in Denmark from pressure-cast aluminium that heats evenly and will never warp. The virtually indestructible ceramic titanium nonstick coating is safe for use with metal utensils. It comes with a 10-year warranty that covers against chipping, flaking, heat blisters and cracking.

Scanpan Classic pans feature ergonomic cool-touch phenolic handles secured with a patented screwless assembly that will never loosen. Safe for use with all hobs except induction. Oven safe to 260°C.

Reliable

Scan Fry Pan

Its great

Super Scanpan

This frypan is a dream for making omelettes. They slide right out and brown beautifully and evenly. A great size for toasting nuts. Due to the black colour, I have found foods such as garlic and onions brown quickly but it's difficult to see it happening, so you can go from raw to burnt quickly, if not keeping a good eye on the pan. This has been used every day since I bought it and is a very useful size. Coupled with a larger one, you really wouldn't need much else for everyday cooking.

Wonderful Choice

Great frying pan

This is my second Scanpan. I wanted a smaller one to replace Teflon pan for everyday frying, as they just wear out so quickly and have to be thrown out, unlike a Scanpan which is a real stayer in your pot drawer.

It pays to buy the best you can afford.

We have had this Scanpan for two weeks now, and are very happy with it's non stick capabilities. It is a healthier pan to cook with, as there it is a true non stick pan, and very light to handle.

Simply yhe best

I purchased the 26cm frypan with glass lid for a great price and coking with it is the fabulous. No spitting or sticking. Goes from cooktop to oven. Cleans like a dream - wipe with a damp cloth and Bob's your uncle! Ready to go again.

Flaking and bubbling on my pan

I have this frying pan which is about 6 years old. It has now started bubbling and flaking in the centre. I would think twice about buying another although I am waiting to see what the response is like about replacing it as there is allegedly a ten year warranty.

Love It!

My Scanpan Classic Frypan was a 2009 Christmas gift from my daughter. I have used it nearly every day since and love it! For the health-conscious it needs no greasing, it holds the heat evenly and best of all is a dream to clean.

Good but ...

My husband gave me a Scanpan for Christmas and assured me it would be the best thing I had ever cooked with. Although I agree it's better than what you can get at the supermarket - and I do use mine almost daily - the internal coating has indeed altered with constant use.
