A tip for using grill pans—oil the steak and not the pan.
For best cleaning results follow these simple steps:
Always pre-heat the pan before use.
Never add oil to the pan for cooking as it doesn't serve any purpose as it collects in the grooves and doesn't make contact with the food. If you want to use oil it is best to apply oil to the food before putting it on the grill.
After use immediately add cold water to the pan or put it in a sink of water as this will partly steam clean the pan.
Let the pan cool and then wash in warm soapy water and scrub with a nylon brush.
I bought this 28cm grill pan last year - and just love it! Cooks all our meat beautifully - and I can even add some water with a little gravox, mustard, s@P after finishing cooking and we have a yummy sauce for our steaks.

Scan Pan, Thankyou
I recently purchased a scan pan 28cm grill. It is used at least twice a week in our house. It cooks steak perfectly and the kids like seeing their sausages sizzle, great for chicken. Large enough, that I can cook a meal for four at the same time. Cleaning is as simple as running under hot water and then wiping off any excess food. I raved about it so much my mother in law, she asked for one for her birthday. Great product!

Fantastic
Although my first pan arrived broken it was quickly replaced. It cooks steak to perfection and is great for grilling vegetables too. An ideal size to cook dinner for 2 people.
Overall, another great product from Scanpan.

Perfect every time.
The Scanpan Grill Pan is brilliant! Cooks evenly and effficiently. The meat is always tender and the Pan is easy to clean. Kicking myself that I didn't buy one ages ago!

Greatest cookware

Perfect for steaks
This is the perfect size grill pan for cooking 2 steaks at a time. Great results every time with even heat distribution. Very good purchase for a grill!

Fantastic results every time
I use the Scanpan Griddle for many things, but my favourite is for omelette! Thats right, Omelette! Cook your bacon first. Set aside.
3 eggs separated.
Whisk the whites and gently add the lightly beaten yolks. Have cooked, sliced mushrooms and grated cheese and herbs ready. Drain of any bacon fat (don't wash), pour in the egg mixture and spread over the pan by tilting. Cook until base is firm but top still fluffy. Add topping to half and fold in half going the same way as the ridges. Replace the bacon to the uncovered side to keep hot. Heat through. Cut in half and serve with bacon (serves 2)
Also love to grill zucchini and sweet potato slices.
