Scanpan Pressure Cooker 8.5L

I bought this pressure cooker because my collection of Scan pan cookware and bakeware are all high quality, clean very easily and are really a delight to use. A pressure cooker is great for soups in what is sure to be an extremely cold winter.

Stainless steal the best for cleaning would never buy any other type of cooking utensil other than Stainless this product works great on any stove

Very happy with this pressure cooker - ideal for small family. Makes excellent stocks, and meat sauces like ragu and bolognaise. Cuts cooking time drastically. Easy to use but need to get familiar with some techniques, like not putting the pressure lid on when contents are not too hot. Cleans up easily in the dishwasher.

after a few trials I have now mastered the pressure cooker and don't know how I went so long without one. Usual high quality scan pan build although some of the paint near the lock has started to rub off - generally happy though.

I am very pleased with my recent purchase of the Scanpan 8L Pressure Cooker. Initially a little daunted, the instructions provided gave me confidence to go forth and steam! My first results were good and have since improved as Ive learnt to regulate the amount of pressure. Practice makes perfect. Simple to clean, not too big although gives good bicep workout.

I waited for my Pressure cooker to arrive, only to find one of the handles was broken. I was very unhappy about the whole thing until I spoke to the staff at customer care. The staff at Kitchenwaredirect customer care are fantastic. They were very understanding and very sorry that I had received a faulty cooker. The lady I spoke to was very helpful and made the return process very easy. I am extreamly happy with there service and would have no problem recommending them to all my friends and family. I am at this time waiting for the replacement cooker to arrive, and when It does I will leave another review.

All my cookware is Scanpan, so I didn't hesitate to buy this pressure cooker from them. I bought it specifically for making stocks and it is definitely large enough for that. Quality product, easy to use, easy to clean. Very speedy delivery from kitchenwaredirect :)

I never thought my children would ask me for beef stew, but thanks to the 8.5 L Scanpan Pressure Cooker it now happens on a weekly basis!! Bread, puddings, stew, Indian, soufflé, chicken and rice, risotto, steamed Thai chicken and vegetables, the possibilities are endless! I use my pressure cooker nearly every day. I purchased this pressure cooker 2 weeks ago and have used it almost every 2nd day. I did not realise how big it was and am really impressed with it!!!! The service and delivery was outstanding and I am REALLY happy with this cooker. Have been purchasing Scanpan products for almost 16 years and would highly recommend this product for its quality and ease of use.

I am very happy with the product and speedy delivery from KitchenWare Direct. I needed a bit of help determining when the cooker at reached pressure, and found them and the distributor extremely helpful. My only regret is that I didn't buy this cooker in the set available. I would have loved to have the smaller, 3.5 liter pot as well, which looks like a deep frying pan, but unfortunately I only noticed it after I received the cooker. If you are considering purchasing this pressure cooker, you may want to consider the set before you purchase.

I'm very happy with the Scanpan Pressure Cooker. I had never used one before, & so I am still learning. But would recommend any one to buy one, as the meals are so quick. I have used some of the cheapest cuts of meat & they turn out so tender. I was going to buy the 6 L but ended up getting the 8.5 L. Happy I did.

Absolutely love this product! Received this pressure cooker about 4 weeks ago now and been using it at least 3 times a week. 8.5L is a great size. Scanpan is such a great brand, and this pressure cooker is such great value for money at Kitchenware Direct prices. Outstanding customer service and quick delivery. Cant beat this price anywhere else, Kitchenware Direct prices are definitely unbeatable. Why would you go anywhere else.

I recently purchased this scanpan pressure cooker and have found it fantastic. I especially like the steamer basket (which is included) as my old pressure cooker (a cheaper brand) did not have one (which was a real pain!). Super fast and quiet also induction compatible. Truly a great investment for all kitchens!!

With its heavy base, its great for other cooking styles other than a pressure cooker. One of the best purchases we made in a while, we own two. Wish we had found you when we purchsed our first one. Every house should have a presure cooker and dont be frightened of then, they are fantastic and once you have used it once you will wonder what you did with out one,

I work long hours and when I get home I want to make a quick meal. I can make our favourite meals in a fraction of the time. The two practical size pans are great for family or entertaining. Great idea!
