I've have 2 scanpans - 1 saute pan and the other a small frying pan both with the non stick coating. After being VERY careful to using low to medium heat, using non stick utensils and not using any abrasives for cleaning (simply dish washing detergent and a sponge), the coating is now shot after 2 years - on both pans. Food sticks to the pan. I'm totally disappointed and will never buy any Scanpan non stick products again.

Thanks to another reviewer, I choose this pan instead of the scan pan frypan, as the sides on the frypans are very low. I am more than happy with this pan, I use it for everything, great size, easy to clean and I have thrown away my less than impressive cheaper version.

This is a brilliant pan and so diverse in its applications. Have had a scanpan wok for 15 years and use it constantly....looks like it has a challenger for the most used utensil now!

I have so many kitchen implements these days. Most are reasonably useful but take up space, are cumbersome and are hard to clean. But this Scanpan frypan is brilliant. Lightweight(so good for arthritic wrists!), easy to store, exactly the right size and one of the best things ever.....incredibly easy to clean!. In other words, simple & brilliant. And I love the fact they are practically indestructable.

As a keen cook I purchased this Scanpan to add to my growing collection of Scanpans. The 28cm size is great for frittatas, you can cook on stove top part of the dish and transfer direct to oven to finish it off and brown the top. The saute pan has so many uses and I prefer the higher sides to the saute pan than the frying pan. The glass lid was different to other Scanpan with lids, that I have purchased in the past, the dome is not as high and it has a stainless rim. I prefer the original glass lids but that is only a matter of choice as both still look good and do similar job. I have many lids from previous purchases so I have plenty to choose from. As you increase your collection you will have so many lids you won't know what to do with them as many of them are interchangeable with other products.

Love my Scanpan saute pans, this was a replacement for an older Scanpan I wore out :) love it. Great size and does an amazing job.

I now have several scanpans of various sizes. Use them daily, they do a wonderful job and are easy to clean.

This is a great pan - for vegetables, pancakes, eggs, everything! Will be buying more Scanpan products in the future. Would be great to have a steam release option as somebody mentioned... but that's my only complaint (and it's a small one).

We use our saute pan with lid virtually every day. Useful as a frypan, or casserole, this is a must have for every kitchen. And so very easy to clean and maintain. I will never be without one of these pans. Only improvement would be steam release.

I used to buy cheap pans from department stores, thinking that they really all were the same and all had to be replaced fairly regularly anyway. I bought this to replace my Anolon pan which has beginning to have foods stick to it. It's the first Scanpan item I bought and I love it! Easy to cook in, easy to clean - especially as there is nothing inside the pan for food to stick where the handle meets the pan. It is a little heavy but that can be overlooked as it is excellent quality wtih a few months use so far! Have since bought another larger scanpan. Recommended.

I've had this pan for a few weeks now and really can't fault it. Nice and deep, but with a lip that is a good shape for 'flipping' food... The non-stick also doesn't appear to be just a 'coating' as on some other pans. Would highly recommend this pan!

Fantastic pan that can be used for so many dishes, with very little use of oil (just a drizzle of olive oil), even when cooking crumbed foods. I have used Scanpan previously and am gradually replacing my current saucepans/pans with Scanpan - they are simply a brilliant product to use.
