very good purchase good shape for wok cooking and using with steamer baskets. suits cooking for up to 4 people, for more serves get a bigger one.

Finally a wok for a ceramic cook top!!!
I've tried stainless steel woks, other brands of woks, even a plug in electric wok (seriously...don't even bother!) and nothing got hot enough for that true wok cooking experience. We've got a ceramic hot plate and this scanpan wok has no trouble getting really hot and cooking great stir fry. You can also pop it in the oven with frittata or curry because the handles are oven proof. I love that these pans can be run under cold water as soon as you've finished to 'steam clean' them. Highly recommended.

Classy
This is a beautifully designed piece of cookware. I wanted something that would serve as a wok or a slow steamer for curries and the like. The addition of the glass lid gives it this versatility. If you are looking to indulge in a Scanpan, this is the one!
