Cuisinart Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker

This is a great machine, but it does take some practice. First time I got a nice milkshake. Went online and did my research. Second time it was a perfect soft serve, Make sure you freeze the bowl well ( back of the freezer for a few days), and put the mixture into the freezer for about 10 min. I also bought an extra bowl, and it was worth it.It comes apart easily and washes in minutes. I don't use dispensers, it seems easier just to sprinkle mix-ins. Also, you have to eat really fast because in a few minutes the ice cream becomes too hard, then you have to scoop it out because you can't store it in the bowl. Overall, its not perfect but it does the job. Great service and a very fast delivery, thank you KitchenwareDirect!

The item arrived so quickly, but it took me a week or so to get organised and buy the ingredients. This machine makes amazing ice cream. I made a whole lot for just my partner and I and we gobbled it up quickly!

My dad is a 'Maccas cone' addict, so we thought buying him his own soft serve machine would be a good idea for his birthday. Made the first batch of vanilla this morning. Didn't realize the bowl ha to be in the freezer for 12hours, so we had to wait til the following day to try it out. It was great to watch the ice cream form before your eye - tasted so good! I'm keeping an eye on the condiment dispensing gears - they were working, but they stopped pretty soon after doing the first cone. Otherwise, we (he!) couldn't be happier! :) Definitely thinking about buying a second freezer bowl to make two flavours at once.

The product initially looked pretty good but out-of-the-box it was faulty as it was making a terrible grinding noise. I returned the item by post to 'Cuisinart' and within 2 weeks had a replacement but it too was faulty in that the mix-it-in mechanism gears were not at all working. It's hard to get in contact with anyone at CuisinArt for a further replacement but I am not holding much hope that it will work as advertised.

My wife is a bit crazy for ice cream so I bought her one of these for her birthday. We've made every kind of ice cream imaginable with this bad boy and it never gets old. It takes us about 10 minutes to decide what recipe we want to make (too many options), about 3 minutes to mix the raw ingredients, and provided the freezer bowl is ready to go we're eating soft serve ice cream within 20-25 minutes time. Leftovers can be put into a sealable container and then put in the freezer for later consumption. The whole thing comes apart for easy cleaning. If you problems with ants you might want to remove the condiments dispensers and seal them in an additional air tight container. We've had a few surprise condiments in the past. An extra freezer bowl is a must if you plan to have more than 6 people over for dinner and an ice cream. All-in-all we love our soft serve ice cream maker. 5/5 stars.

Fantastic service, fast delivery. Makes the yummiest ice cream. Quick to dissemble and easy to clean. Already playing with different recipes. Extra bowl is great - make one flavour for the kids, then another for the grown-ups.

This machine is amazing, it makes the best tasting ice cream so quickly, and it's so cheap to make. The kids love watching it churn, and can't wait to eat it when it's ready. Yum all round.

I bought this when I was pregnant and constantly craving soft serve ice-cream...it certainly hit the right spot! There are several parts that need to be removed to be cleaned, but that is probably the only negative. Also, you need to make sure that the icecream bowl is completely frozen before use, so you either need to keep it in the freezer (taking up space) or time your cravings better :) All-in-all, it's a fantastic addition to our kitchen tools collection, and will be used for many more years to come.

What a fantastic item! My son wanted a soft serve ice cream machine for Christmas. I did some research and decided to give the Cuisinart Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker a go. I am so happy that I did. It has been extremely easy for my children to use. Clear, precise recipes and very easy to use.

The Cuisinart Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker was the best Christmas present ever. It is now October and our family is using it almost every day. The kids love it and fight over which flavour to make. Depending on the recipe, it can taste like chocolate mousse. Our family love it.

This product is fantastic. I have so far made easy vanilla ice cream using condensed milk (yum!) and a fruit sorbet using tangelos grown in my own backyard. The machine is fast and easy to use and the kitchenware direct service was excellent too.

Ice Cream every night at our house. The kids love it. The great thing is you know exactly what you are eating and it is just like the real soft serve ice cream.

I bought the machine Nov 2009 and I only used it last night, made Rockmelon soft Ice-cream, it was delicious!- the best is the freedom to use ingredients of your choice; I used soy milk, light cream and puree fruit...
