Absolutely love this pan. I use it every day. With a large family the size is perfect. From risotto to frittatas. Washes up in seconds. Love it.

Just a dream team for my kitchen. Between the chef pan /lid and the scanpan wok,(same lid fits) they are the most used and loved. Nothing else will ever do.

Bought this frying pan a couple of years ago and have used it nearly daily. It is a pleasure to use and the interior is very easy to clean. My only criticism are that I find the base and sides difficult to keep clean. Does not impact on its functionality, but I like my cookware to be clean inside and out. Also I have recently purchased an induction cooktop and I was sure that my lovely Scanpan frying pan would definately work on it, but alas it does not.

I bought this to cook paella but am now using it for everything. Great for pasta sauces, stews, browning and frying. Makes fabulous lamb shanks! Perfect size, non-stick works well and the lid and double handles makes it very easy to use.

How did I ever live without this wonderful cooking implement? I use it daily and the washing up is so easy. Ordering,delivery and after sales service of Kitchenware Direct are faultless. Their emails are my favourite, sometimes to purchase, plan or dream. Keep up the good work team!

I bought my first Scanpan product more than 10 years ago, and have had no problems with any of them. I have also bought both my children Scanpan. One has had trouble with non stick coating bubbling - returned same and had it replaced no worries. My main saucepan set is RenaWare, (bought in 1975), but I prefer to use Scanpan saute/frying pans. I have cooked on both gas and electric stoves, and had no troble with either, using low to medium heat, however, when using my Scanpan wok, I tend to use higher heat, to date it works wonderfully, and this item would be at least 5 years old. I have never regretted my first and subsequent purchases. Thank you Scanpan and especially thanks to you, KitchenwareDirect, for providing such a great product range, great competitive pricing and very prompt service. Much appreciated!

I purchased this frying pan, because it has 2 handles on either side, i find it easier for me than the long handle pans, perfect size when making shnitzels. i have purchased my second one. Thank you kitchen direct, scanpan is the best

Have only had my new scanpan for 2 weeks but love it. cleans beautifully with a wipe of paper towel and handwash. great size for a family and easy cooking from stove top to oven.

Excellent at cooking on stove at moderate heat or in oven. Very pleased with all my scan pans and as this was on special saved a heap!

Just a warning....this pan will not be non-stick for very long if you use high heat. I have had to return mine to Scanpan because it wasn't non-stick anymore; I was sent a replacement nice and quickly but there was a flyer included that stated the warranty would not cover damage to the coating due to high heat. They stress that you can only use low to medium heat with this pan. I am presuming the same applies to the whole Classic range. A little impractical seeing as so much frying is/should be done with high heat, but I will now be buying a regular stainless steel pan for these jobs and leave my non-stick Scanpan for the gentle work....

This was not my first & will not be my last Scanpan. I showed the deal to a friend & we both bought one. Could not be happier. You will not find a better price or such excellent service on line or in person. Mine was missing the long screw in the sealed package (not Kitchenware Directs Fault) & a replacement was shipped out the next day. Well done Kitchenware Direct, keep up the excellent service. I am recommending to you all my friends.

This seriously a great pan, big enough for a family meal, and so easy to clean. In fact I liked this pan so much, I purchased another for my sister.

this pan is perfect for everything! sauces, frying, carsseroles.. it cleans so easily, you literally just wipe it out.. great size for when your cooking a large amount.. and exellent for those meals that require some frying followed by baking..

Love everything Scanpan. I have a vast amount of Scanpan products and couldn't recommend them more highly. I use this dish for fabulous bolognese or even a quick cheat to make bechamel sauce without bothering with a double boiler. Guarantee you will love it.

Since we have had this pan, we have used it many times. It's just great. Cooks well without burning and is easy to clean.

Excellent pan for cooking on stove top or in the oven or both. Although I was disappointed that I bought it for $149 and a few days later saw it for sale at $139. However as I already have a scanpan casserole for about 15 years I didn't hesitate to buy this one and am very pleased with it.

the scanpan chefs pan is easily the most used pan in my kitchen, use it on the cook top or in the oven, and for such a huge range of applications, it's just great.

Sometimes you just need a really large pan and this is the one. So easy to clean too and great for finishing off frittatas in the oven.

I love this pan. The recipes you can do in this wide pan are endless. Great for a large family, I love that I dont have to swap pans when I brown chicken and then have to finish off in the oven. Sensational.

The chef's pan is more practical to fry, sear and then bake the contents. I don't have to change from pan to baking dish or deal with the combersome exercise of putting in and taking out a frypan from the oven.

This is a fantastic all round pan. You can use it on the stove, chuck it in the oven, and it is a breeze to clean up. I've had it for 1 week and have used it every single night. It is my go to pan for roasts as it really crisps up the sides of the meat, leaving the inside tender and moist. It is a large pan, so the lid does get in the way when you place it on the bench to stir your meal.

I like this pan as I don't have to have lots of pans in the kitchen. I use it for everything...you can get rid of the frypan, a pot and a casserole dish.

Love this pan! Bought frypan b4 but needed a deeper pan for stirfry. The wok-style wasn't good to cook a few eggs together, so this pan is perfect for a first piece as it has multi-use. Had to return frypan cos non-stick peeled. Replaced by Scanpan no problems. Been told to use med to low heat, not high to keep surface good. Will take better care of this pan. Fast delivery, very happy with transaction.

Yes another Scanpan convert.. This is my first Scanpan and definitely won't be my last. Love it. How can I get so excited about a pan? It cooks great, nothing sticks to it at all...and cleaning is a breeze. Oh and it's the perfect size too: I use it for all my frying, sauteeing, sauce-cooking. Never realised how handy it would be to have a lid. This pan never gets put back in my cupboard because I use it every night.

Where have I been for all those years using other inferior equipment?? This is really great to use and excelelnt to easily wash and clean. Would never use anything else again!

This is the first Scanpan I have ever bought. So impressed :). Even heat no hot spots, so easy to clean. Size is great easily cooks a large fried rice, curry or at least for good size porterhouse steaks.The pan is not too heavy but you can feel the quailty. Overall a wonderful product. Kitchenware direct sent my parcel so quickly it nearly gave me whiplash!!! Wonderful company that I will buy from again. Thanks

I loved my scan pan - great for cooking - use most of the time. I DO NOT use Olive oil as I have been advised by many can cause this build up. I am very careful - wash the pan when still hot as per instructions. But the same thing has happened with the second one. So I will return this one too. But I won't buy Scanpan again. Will try another brand.

This has to be the most-used Scanpan (or any kind of pan) in our collection. We love the size, which is big enough for our family (despite having two hungry teen boys to feed)! If you can only afford one pan, this has to be it!

This is my first scanpan and I'm absolutely loving it. Great size and depth, thus very versatile. Very light for its size. Easy to clean. Love the fact that I can put it straight from the stove into the oven. Then straight on to the table - as it's a beautiful piece of cookware. Absolutely love this pan. Only had it a short time and have used it heaps. So versatile; good width and depth allows you to easily cook fish, chicken, curries for a family of 4. Love the fact you can take it from the hob straight to the oven. So easy to clean, plus lightweight (makes a huge difference). Will definitely being buying more Scanpan! This is the second scanpan I have bought and I am just lovin it. I also have a sautepan and plan my meals around what I can cook in one of these great pans. The service and delivery from Kitchenware Direct is outstanding, I have also purchased a Kitchenaid food processer and was amazed at the service and delivery time, email questions are answered quickly. This product definately lives up to the Scanpan reputation! I just love it! It is so versitile and cooks food so evenly. I have yet to use it in the oven but love that you can cook on the stovetop and then transfer the whole pan into the oven to finish off the cooking process - so easy! I used to think that all non-stick pans were the same but now I know it is worth spending that little bit extra (not much extra if you get it on sale!) to get this quality! I would definately recommend!

This is my first scanpan and i love it . It is one pan cooking at its best and cleaning it is a breeze.I will buy more scanpan in the future .Delivery time was prompt and service was great.

I am so happy with my Chef Pan! Actually the only reason I bought it was that my large saute pan was too big (because of the handle) to fit in my small oven under the griller. I still wanted the same capacity and capability of being used as a casserole, without the long handle. So I bit the bullet and bought the chef pan as well, but now find that I use both, sometimes at the same time. For example, the chef pan goes under the grill to melt cheese or brown the top of something, while I'm preparing something else in the saute pan. I also own the very small skillet too, which is brilliant for a couple of eggs or some mushrooms, or even browning an onion to add to a dish. Well done Mr Scanpan! And thank you Kitchenware Direct for giving us the opportunity to buy at such a reasonable price, with easy reliable ordering and prompt delivery.

This is an amazing essential item. Easy to clean , beautiful to cook in, can use only one pan and add so many items no matter what the recipe it is useful for so many dishes I recommend you purchase this pan and can do without so many other pans in your cupboard

Really this is so great. I use it everyday. Think I would happily throw all my others away. It is a breeze to clean nothing sticks just wipe out with warm soapy water. I love Kitchenware Direct and buy from them regularly. Being based in regional WA I am accustomed to items taking forever to reach me, however KD always seem to manage to get things to me in a few days without fail!! Never close down guys as you will be sorely missed.

Absolutely the best multi purpose pan I have ever owned. Superfast delivery, superbly packaged so no damage at all, no doubt the best price I could find and all so easy. My chef's pan has replaced many of my other kitchen pans and casserole dishes. Cooks everything just how a good pan should, no burnt bits or undercoooked pieces, it is very even. A simple roast browned in it and then finished off in the oven all in one pan, less washing up..Yay!! Tarte Tatin - too easy! Stir fries, braises, steaks, this pan can do it all, clever thing it is! Great large size, easy to clean, easy to handle from oven to bench, there is nothing bad I can say about my new Scanpan Chefs Pan. If you can only buy one pan, this is the one for you!

This is the first Scanpan product I have bought & I am absolutely delighted. It is a great size, nothing sticks, it is easy to wash up & the handles don't heat up. A great feature is that it can be placed in the oven. I have always hesitated to buy Scanpan products due the price but Kitchenware direct had the best price I could find plus it was delivered within 5 days from ordering - excellent service. This is the second Scanpan I have purchased and once again I am totally delighted and impressed with the product. Scanpan was recommended to me by friends, both husband and wife are excellent cooks, and I since have recommended it to others. You won't be disappointed with either the performance or price.

I am not a very good cook but since using the Chef's Pan I am improving every time I use it. I do not burn as many meals these days as the pan has great access for easy stirring. Should have known about this product years ago as that would have saved many a disaster. Just great.

I guess this is almost 2 reviews but without doubt this has been the best purchase I think I have ever made. I had to wait till I was over 50 to get some really decent cookware and I am really making use of it. This pan (like all the Scanpan items) is easy to use, cleans like a dream and I can cook as much or as little as I want. There are only 2 of us in this house now but my Chef Pan/Wok will cover the 12+ at Christmas as well as just the two of us for our vegetables to be steamed. My youngest son and daughter-in-law have 3 little boys so I splurged on her for this year's Christmas present and bought her the Pan and Steamer.

When using it as a wok I can whip up a meal for just 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 with no problem - I can do everything in the one pan if using noodles which saves on washing up.

My range of Scanpan goods is growing - and I know when I pop my clogs that the family will receive 1/2 of the range each .

Really the best thing I ever bought and use it well.
