Description

An extra coarse grater such as this is especially useful if you find yourself making pizzas or tacos often, because it makes the thicker slivers of cheese that characterise those foods. Onions, potatoes, cabbage and other such produce are also no match for its lethally slicing ways. 

Graters of the Microplane Artisan Series are dishwasher safe and feature plastic ergonomic handles in a variety of colours. This allows you to achieve greater kitchen efficiency by colour-coding the four different blades in the series. On the other hand, if you have a definite theme or decor in your kitchen, you can simply get a whole collection in your chosen colour.

Made from surgical-grade stainless steel, a Microplane doesn't grate food so much as it shaves it with razor-sharp rows of tiny acid-etched blades. The result?
