The grating function works fine, but the plastic frame falls apart after a few months of use. Either be VERY gentle or buy something else - disappointing from Scanpan, a brand I normally love!

Poor quality

I have broken two of these now. The hardened plastic casing cracks and breaks easily when very little pressure is applied. I will be replacing them with an all metal equivalent.

Excellent Quality

This product is far superior to any other zester/grater I have used. The blades are very sharp, making it so much easier to use. It comes with a plastic guard which is great for storage.

No big cumbersome grater to deal with. Hang it up or put into the utility drawer. color coded for easy use. I am throwing by big grater away!!!!
