Had a set of knifes still in its box cause I didn't want to shove them in the drawer with all the other utensils. This solved that problem and looks grat on the bench. Very Happy:)

Fantastic

This knife block works exactly how I wanted it to. I saw it for $100 when I was on holidays in QLD and when I got home I found it on here for a bit over half of the price. I bought it for my mum, because I was over having the knives just laying in a drawer. I makes it really convenient having them on the cupboard now. Mum loves it!!!

STYLISH AND EFFECTIVE

What a great way to keep my top quality knives in sharp, working order. No more having to sharpen them evertime they come out of a wooden knife block, blunting them every time I pull them out and push them back. The blonde wood is also a much better option than stainless steel.

OK but not perfect

The concept of this is great. The rods that hold the knives are a plastic/nylon material. My MAC knives which are razor sharp tend to cut the rods leaving tiny shards of the plastic on the knife blade, I would think over time this may totally destroy the rods. Your knves neeed to be absolutely bone dry otherwise you will have an irepearable hygeine issue on your hands. I loved the idea of this but I'm not sure it will have as long a life as a traditional block.

iBlock Knife Block

Much better format for holding knives than the conventional block with slots. Knives will fit anywhere within this block. Looks fantastic.Good price and quick delivery from Kitchenware Direct equals a very satified customer.

excellent!

the block is the perfect size for 10 med-large knives plus a couple of small paring knives. It sits neat and tidy on my bench. Plus the price was $30 cheaper than at local shops.

Perfect remedy!

When we bought our Shun knives last year we were upset to find out that there were no decent (empty) knife blocks available for our collection. Knives that lovely (and sharp) need to be kept safe (especially from little hands!) so we have been keeping them in the box between uses... not the most convenient thing! The iBlock offers a perfect remedy for our problem offering ease of use, aesthetic appeal and protects our Shun blades perfectly. Great idea and doesn't cost the earth!
