Progressive Onion Chopper

I love this thing and use it all the time but make sure you give good instructions to other members of your household about how to use it - my boyfriend killed mine by trying to force it to cut the tough ends of brown onions. Doing this will push the blades out and you can't get them back in the slots. Its a one way trip to the bin thereafter and back to this website to buy another one.

It's rubbish, I took it back. More onion fumes get in your eys frgging around with it then just chopping.

It's amazing the uses one can find for this chopper, and the cleaning comb makes the cleanup so much easier.

I found this Onion Chopper awesome at doing what it is supposed to do, but you have to give a massive amount of pressure (well for women) to cut through the onion halved down the middle. I can also dice apple and soft things in one click. Kitchen Direct is the place I go for buying anything for the kitchen, so thank you for an amazing product

I left a note on 25/6, but just had to come back and say..I havnt changed my mind. I've been chopping everything. potatoes, carrots, capsicum, mushrooms, celery, u name it, I tried it. Time saver gadget and I love it. so quick to get it all in the slow cooker. Even Garlic with the skin on..it tends to leave the skin in the blades which is a big bonus....very very happy.

No tears. Chopped in 2 secs. Why would you want to do it the hard way. Dishwasher safe. I love it.

This is such a great little tool for the kitchen! I hate chopping onions and this makes it so easy and with no tears! Would recommend this to anyone... Best little invention for the kitchen!!

Wow - this really works for chopping onion. I hate chopping onions abd I've bought so many products which ellegedly make it easier. This chopper actually works. It's very fast and easy and chops the onion into an excellent size for cooking. Clean up was wonderful - I just rinsed it under cold water and then the whole lot went into the dishwasher. Came out perfectly clean with no problems. Looking forward to trying it on other vegies.

I bought one today and with great excitement tried to chop an onion quatered. I had to put my body weight on it to chop. It might have been helpful if it had a leg lever for me to stand on. I seem to have a dud appliance.

The grid size on this one is smaller than I was looking for as I wanted it mainly for veggies and not onions. It does however chop cucumber, celery and peppers beautifully. Tomatoes are a bit more tricky and require quite a bit of steadliy applied force so as not to splat them. All in all a great onion chopper and able to do certain other veggies too if you are strong.

Great tool. Chops way smaller than I could by hand. A bit fiddly to clean but worth the effort. Don't think I'd put in dishwasher. Use it on carrots and other veggies too!

Really useful thing when you need to chop several onions. It chops into neat small pieces, I could never cut it so neatly with a knife. It takes a little bit of time to get used to, but it is really easy to use (I found that it's best to use smalles onions, cut each in half and place it on the chopper round side down). I am happy with this product, the only reason I give it 4 stars, not 5 is because it takes a bit of time to wash it. Have not tried it in the dishwasher yet, maybe the dishwasher can do a good job on it, then it would be all 5.
