Recently updated to an induction cooktop so have had buy new saucepans. The Scanpan IQ range is great because the glass lid allows you to see what's happening in the pot, critical when things are happening so fast. Love the silicone seal on the lid as well. Very easy to clean as well.
My favourite brand of pots and I have been using them for many years now and love them, I recently changed from the classic range to the IQ range and they are of a really high standard so easy to maintain and very nice to look at, the glass lids are a bonus as you can see what how everything is cooking without taking the lid of. I would recommend Scanpan to everyone they are the best.
We use this pot for making sauces and boiling eggs. Sauces don't stick and we love the ventilated silicon lids because they are quiet. The handle and knob is of great quality and the ventilated lids make great strainers. Very happy with this purchase. We did have some trouble with the other IQ pot and pan that we bought at the same time, though. They both lost their non-stick quality after a year's worth of use and started to discolour as well as adhere. The good news was that Scanpan stood by their 10 year warranty and replaced both pot and pan within a week's turnaround. Excellent service.
Used my sausepan for first time- to boil eggs? At last a sausepan when the water doesn't boil away before cooking finished. Cooking for one I know this will be one of my daily used pans for general cooking of vegetables, no more burnt pans.
I am gradually replacing all my pans and I am delighted with this lovely saucepan, the pouring lips with strainers are a bonus!

The design and quality finish make it worth the money. Very happy with product love the flat glass lid with the rubber around to stop the clank clank when boiling. Have a couple of the IQ cookware now and could not be happier.
This is not a cheap saucepan, but when you use it so often its really worth every cent.The design and quality finish make it a must have, which im sure will outlast all other items in our kitchen.
Excellent product for my requirements
I needed a small size saucepan for all the little things. Like boiling eggs, making food for the kiddies, custards, etc...The size is perfect and works well with the long handle. The scanpan iq range is heavy but works wonderfully with induction and remember to use non-scratch pad for washing up.
