I bought this for my popcorn fanatic friend who says he has it near every day coming up with his own flavors by adding to the oil before popping. Awesome!
Great popcorn machine it's so easy to use and also quiet fast. We've used it heaps especially when watching movies. We always have to go cook more :-). Purchased it after my friend told me how great it was. Have since purchased another one for my sister and her kids to enjoy too.

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING
I purchased this after seeing the picture on the box and the first 2 glowing reviews. The box makes it look like the popcorn maker produces a whole tray at a time. which would be perfect. You actually have to do 4 loads to get that amount. We thought we could make enough for a movie night party.. Better off turning on the stove and doing it in a saucepan. Unfortunately i made one batch and in my naviety of popcorn making then discovered the problem. . Consquently kitchenware direct would not allow me to return it. Cuisinart should be charged with misleading advertising!

Cuisinart Easy Pop Popcorn Maker
I have the Easy Pop maker and it is fantastic. Not this one but made by same company (5 stars). Uses little oil and is quick and leaves very few kernels unpopped. I've had 4 airpoppers and this one beats them all. I now have no need to use butter - Popcorn is tasty with only salt/spice and is now a healthy snack.

Fantastic!
I got this for my husband last Christmas and he loves it!! If you do a bit of a google you can buy the proper oil and salt online from carnival supply shops and it tastes EXACTLY like cinema popcorn only heaps fresher. (you add the oil and butter salt to the kernels while cooking, not poured on afterwards!)
Not the easiest to clean, but it does say it's not necessary every time you use it..

Fantastic!
I bought this popcorn maker for our Saturday movie nights & it makes us feel like we are at the actual movies! The kids love watching it pop! If you want it to taste like real movie popcorn all you have to do is purchase the butter salt & oil and add it to the kettle at the same time as the corn!Tastes Great! Its also easy to operate & clean! Highly recommended for all family's who love to watch movies in the comfort of their own home!

Not really that good.
Ok well I've bought it and returned it. This item doesn't actually say it doesn't pop without oil. I was after an air popping machine. Might of been a good idea to state that in the description.

has issues
Makes great popcorn but find it a bit of a contraption and hard to clean the kettle properly. Don't know why they put the motor on top of the box and driving it from there making it so much easier to use. Also need to be able to open the kettle right up so one can clean it.

I bouht this thinking the pop corn would be better but it is no different than cooking in a pot. also the mechanism is cumbersome to set up each time I use it

Very Disappointed :(
I purchased this popcorn maker thinking it would be like the one I use at work (only smaller). However when I used it for the first time today, the quality of the popcorn is no different than ordinary popcorn maker. It does not make buttered popcorn (as shown in the picture) and you have to add melted butter which just makes the popcorn soggy. If you want cinema style popcorn buy the microwavable bags and save your money!

What A Treat!
I bought this as a gift for the whole family and everyone was delighted. It looks fantastic and is very simple to set up and use. It's not only perfect for those family movie nights but as a healthy choice as a treat for the kids. It takes pride of place in our kitchen and is ready to use and deliver hot popcorn in minutes. The kids now get more excited over watching the popcorn popping than choosing a movie!
